Key Local Company Wins Prestigious Building Award
"LJT Bathroom took the honours recently at the prestigious 2004 HIA NSW Kitchen & Bathroom Awards. Competing against the peak kitchen and bathroom companies in New South Wales, LJT Bathrooms took the awards for:
Bathroom Project - Small Bathroom under 5 square metres partnered by Amber Tiles
NSW Bathroom Project of the Year partnered by Amber Tiles
The HIA NSW Kitchen and Bathroom Awards are the profile awards for the kitchen and bathroom awards in NSW. Hosted this year by media personality Jean Kittson, the awards featured stunning kitchen and bathroom projects by leading NSW designers and builders across NSW. Some of whom will now go onto compete in the HIA Australian Housing Awards.
The Awards recognise excellence in the design and construction of kitchens and bathrooms. These awards showcase real talent, real innovation and real quality.
Winners were chosen by a panel of judges from the kitchen and bathroom industry including kitchen designers, bathroom designers and cabinet makers. The Awards were also supported by kitchen and bathroom manufacturers and suppliers including Amber Tiles, Blum, CaesarStone, Hettich, HIA Insurance Services, Kitchens & Bathrooms Quarterly, The Laminex Group, Oliveri and Winning Appliances whose products were featured in the winning entries.
The judges were impressed with the calibre of LJT Bathrooms entry noting that the bathroom had plenty of pizzazz.
LJT Bathrooms will now go onto compete against kitchen and bathroom companies from across Australia at the annual HIA Australian Housing Awards in the Bathroom Project of the Year category.
Elizabeth Crouch, HIA's NSW Executive Director, congratulated LJT Bathrooms on behalf of the Association.

LJT Bathrooms wins four awards in the 2001 HIA Kitchen and Bathroom Awards
Housing Industry Association (HIA) congratulate LJT
Bathrooms, for winning the Small Bathroom Project under 5sqm,
Large Bathroom Project over 5sqm, Bathroom Designed to a Specific
Theme -Modern, and Bathroom Project of the Year categories
in NSW's premier kitchen & bathroom awards, the 2001 HIA-NKBA
Kitchen & Bathroom Awards.
HIA NSW Executive Director, Elizabeth Crouch, said the HIA-NKBA Kitchen & Bathroom Awards recognise excellence in design, innovation, and construction, within the kitchen & bathroom industry.
"I would like to congratulate LJT Bathrooms on this tremendous achievement," Ms Crouch said.
LJT Bathrooms won the Small Bathroom Project under 5sqm and Bathroom Project of the Year for their entry in Mona Vale. The judges said, "this project showed outstanding attention to detail and excellent workmanship. LJT Bathrooms have achieved a fantastic result."
The Large Bathroom over 5sqm category was won for a project at Collaroy. The judges said, "This European themed bathroom matches the environment of the beach side area. A clean, streamlined finish with high quality fixtures and fittings, completed this outstanding project."
The final award, Bathroom Designed to a Specific Theme
-Modem, was won for a project at Willoughby.
LJT Bathrooms were chosen to represent NSW as the finalist at the "Australian Housing Awards in May 2002."
Winners were chosen by a panel of judges from the
industry including kitchen designers, bathroom designers, and cabinetmakers.
